The Bloom card is a metal, NFC-enabled keycard used to physically unlock blocked, distracting apps on your smartphone. It works in conjunction with a companion app to enforce digital detoxing and, as seen on Shark Tank, provides "real friction" to prevent impulsive screen time by requiring a physical tap to deactivate restrictions.
Users pick apps (e.g., Instagram, TikTok) to block. The Bloom card locks them, and the phone stays locked until you tap the card to it again.
Features include scheduled blocks, strict modes, and emergency "shortcuts" (limited to 3 times per month).
The app is free and works on Android and Apple.
